Our Standards, Safeguards and Records
At Cheviot Youth we believe young people, families, partners, and funders all deserve confidence in how we operate. This section brings together our key governance documents, safeguarding and privacy policies, and independently examined annual accounts. These materials demonstrate our commitment to safety, accountability, and good practice in everything we do.
Safeguarding Policy
The safety and wellbeing of young people is our highest priority. Our safeguarding policy sets out the standards, checks, and procedures we follow to protect children and young people across all our services.
Privacy Policy
We take data protection seriously. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information in line with GDPR and data protection law.
Constitution
As a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), Cheviot Youth is governed by a written constitution. This document outlines our charitable purposes, governance arrangements, and accountability to OSCR and our community.
Annual Accounts
Our annual accounts are independently examined and submitted to the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). They show clearly how we use funding to deliver services for young people, families, and communities across the Borders. Publishing them here reflects our commitment to accountability and good governance.
