I love going to Youth Club at the Jedburgh Hub as there's always lots to do and the people who help out there are really nice.   Making slime is definitely my favourite thing!

Our Vision

"Young people at the very centre of all we do"

Cheviot Youth guides and facilitates young people’s growth from dependency to one of interdependence; we do this by  supporting their personal, emotional and social development and ensuring that their voice, influence and place within their community and society is heard and recognised.

With the help of a Cheviot Youth mental health Practitioner I was able to re-evaluate things,  get some clarity and really think about who I was and what I wanted out of life

Chair, Cheviot Youth

As the Chair of Cheviot Youth I would like to welcome you to our new Website and to thank you for your interest in our work with children, families and communities in the Cheviot area.

Cheviot Youth has been working with and supporting children and young people since 2011.  During these ten years we have developed to help and assist families, understanding that this wider community work is one of the best ways to serve the interests of our young people.

As you browse our website you’ll notice the wide range of activities offered in the areas of youth work, mental health, training, employability and benefit advice.  You’ll also notice some of our programmes are based around food and cooking, summer avtivities, transistion from primary to secondary education and digital media.  We believe that these areas are vital to the development of a charity that cares deeply about community.
